Blogging Newbie Hello, and thanks so much for stopping by!  After a few failed attempts at keeping up with blogging (a college class required that we tried, and then busyness kept me from updating my photo blog) I decided to give it another go!  I'm obsessed with so many of the fantastic teaching blogs out there and decided that I HAVE to join everyone else in this blogging craze!   So, here I am, learning my way around this virtual world, and hoping that people won't be too cruel to my face, or I mean, webpage while I flounder around.

Small Town Girl
Rockingham County- born and raised.  I absolutely LOVE the county!  I love the scenery, the constantly changing four seasons, and the fact that almost my entire family lives here.  I graduated from Bridgewater College in 2012 and  majored in Liberal Studies.  In college I cheered, took a lot of photos, and met my now husband! We started dating in 2010 and got married in June 2013.  He's a pretty great guy. :)

Fourth Grade!
The 2012-2013 school year was my first year teaching 4th grade- or any grade at that!  I was SO BLESSED to have been offered a job within a month of graduating.  A few weeks after graduation, my pastor and I prayed after church that God would bless the job situation... well, after our prayer, I went back to check my phone and lone behold, I had missed a call from a principal asking me to come in for an interview.  To make this story shorter, I was offered the job a week after my interview!

What, this is my third  FOURTH year teaching?!...
I still can't believe that this will be my FOURTH year teaching.  Where has the time gone? I feel like just yesterday I was playing school with my sister and dolls in our basement.  I can't imagine NOT teaching.  I absolutely love it- I love forming relationships with my kids, brainstorming with my coworkers, and watching so many of my kids succeed and feel confident about school.  I am absolutely BLESSED to love each and every day of my "job!"
